On Sunday 26th October, Ħamrun’s main street, St Joseph High Street, was transformed into a mouth-watering celebration for the 15th Ħamrun Chocolate Festival.

A standout highlight was Maltese chocolatier Tiziano Cassar’s stunning chocolate sculpture of Scarlett Johansson, inspired by her role in the upcoming Jurassic World: Rebirth. While the film wasn’t shot in Malta, the franchise has strong local connections: Jurassic World: Dominion (2022) featured scenes across Valletta, Floriana, and the historic streets of the capital.

Sharing his experience on social media, Cassar revealed the dedication behind his creations: “We worked tirelessly for long hours without rest.”

The Ħamrun Chocolate Festival 2025 once again proved to be a feast for the senses, blending artistry, craftsmanship, and pop culture. From chocolate Hollywood icons to films linked to Malta, the event celebrates creativity and community spirit, turning a local tradition into an international spectacle.
