Nicknamed ‘Sausages on Wheels’, Malta’s community of Dachshund pups were invited to a trip on ‘The Original Train Ride with Santa & Elves’ Christmas Factory, producing some of the cutest, most wholesome images you’ll see this festive season.

Welcoming a total of 42 dogs, Malta Records jury member Jeffrey Saliba recognised the ride and awarded the organisation responsible with a national award.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be taking place in Yerevan, Armenia today and Malta’s very own Gaia Gambuzza will be representing the island with her track ‘Diamonds In The Skies’.

The thirteen-year-old Mosta resident earned her spot representing Malta back in October after emerging first from a list of 16 local Junior Eurovision hopefuls.

Her synth pop, space-esque tune written by Matthew James Borg, has had quite a positive reception amongst Eurovision fans, with locals eagerly awaiting the moment she hits the stage.

Today’s show will be broadcast live at 4PM CET and Gaia will go on fourth on this afternoon’s running order. Unlike the larger Eurovision Song Contest, you can actually vote for Malta, with voting now open on jesc.tv together with a recap of all songs.

GOOD LUCK GAIA!
