Ronaldo tests positive again, will miss Barcelona match

Spanish newspaper ‘Marca’ has reported that Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for COVID-19 for the second time.

Ronaldo first tested positive on October 13 and according to UEFA regulations, players must return a negative result by a minimum of one week before a match to be able to compete.

With that in mind, the Portuguese star will miss the Champions League match against Barcelona.

Malta national team are biggest climbers in FIFA rankings

The Maltese national team has climbed 6 places in FIFA’s world rankings following four consecutive wins and no losses.

FIFA.com labelled the island’s squad as the ‘biggest’ climbers as Malta rises to the 180 rank. 

The national team is scheduled to face Liechtenstein, the team placing just one rank before Malta on 11th November before they go on to play further Nations League group stages.

Inter draw with Borussia Monchengladbach

Inter picked up a 2-2 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach last night as Romelu Lukaku scored a 90th minute goal in San Siro. 

Lukaku also opened the bout with a goal within the first four minutes with Gladbach picking up the momentum as the match progress. 

This comes following Inter’s loss to Milan in Serie A.
