The European Parliament has announced that European Parliament President Roberta Metsola and European Commission President Ursula von Der Leyen will be visiting Israel as the conflict intensifies.
The Parliament president is expected to express solidarity with the victims and to call on Hamas to release those they’ve kidnapped.She is also expected to highlight the need to establish humanitarian corridors and safeguard critical civilian infrastructure in Gaza.
