Robert Abela Visits Young Maltese Patient in London

Prime Minister Robert Abela shared a touching moment from his recent visit to London, where he and his wife Lydia met Ayla, a young Maltese patient receiving treatment at a hospital in the city.

Ayla is currently in need of a bone marrow transplant.

During the visit, Ayla presented gifts to the prime minister and his wife.

Robert Abela wrote, “Lydia and I were welcomed by little Ayla during the treatment she is receiving at a hospital in London. In every way possible, we will continue to stand by our families especially those who are going through difficult times.”
