Puttinu Cares Shares Apartment Refurbishment Progress At Martin Court

Puttinu Cares has shared a glimpse into the ongoing refurbishment of its Martin Court apartments in the UK, which have been offering free accommodation to Maltese and Gozitan patients for nearly two decades.

In a heartfelt update, the charity explained, “The Martin Court block was purchased 17 years ago. We are going through them one by one to continue restoring dignity to the patient.”

These apartments provide a vital lifeline to patients and their families who must travel abroad for medical treatment. “As a country, we should feel truly honoured to have these apartments available for Maltese and Gozitans to use free of charge in times of need.” Puttinu Cares added.

However, the charity also raised concern over rising demand: “Unfortunately, they are not enough, and the demand keeps growing.”

Puttinu Cares expressed its gratitude to supporters and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining these facilities to a high standard, ensuring comfort and dignity for those in need.
