Following the signing of an agreement presided over by Prime Minister Robert Abela, two tracts of land have been transferred to Puttinu Cares and Richmond Foundation respectively.
The land transfer will be allowing Richmond Foundation to have a billing where it can offer mental health community service for youth between the ages of 14 and 24. In the mean time, Puttinu Cares will be able to carry out more holistic services to patients who need the NGO at any point of their treatment journey.
The Prime Minister said that the prestige of such an agreement goes well beyond its signing as it translates into another investment in people’s lives and the quality of living.
‘In challenging moments we want every family to have an environment where they can sustain each other. In the Malta we want, in times of need, families should find a government with resources which can sustain organisations like Puttinu Cares and Richmond Foundation to keep doing good for the country’ said the PM.
With the signing presided by Economy Minister Silvio Schembri as well, Puttinu Cares President Angele Cuschieri and Richmond Foundation CEO Stephania Dimech Sant expressed their gratitude and excitement for the new projects to be carried out as it will help so many people in Malta who are suffering and need professional assistance as it is offered by these organisations.
