Problems to download jab certificates reported by fully vaccinated people

Problems to download jab certificates reported by fully vaccinated people
Jul 16 2021 Share

Despite the vaccination certificate having become crucial for travel, many fully vaccinated people are reporting facing problems when trying to download their own certificate. With more than 237,790 certificates downloaded, 25% of those eligible to access the certificate have not yet downloaded their version. Many are reporting persistent problems, with the health ministry claiming that most problems have to do with verification of information issues.

Most are told to email [email protected], but many are also reporting the lack of replies. This poses problems to many awaiting their date of travel as COVID-19 vaccine certificates have become mandatory for travel. Parents have also expressed concern in regards to downloading their children’s certificate given that they do not possess ID cards.

Louis Vuitton releases new UFO seeming wireless speaker

Louis Vuitton releases new UFO seeming wireless speaker
Jul 16 2021 Share

Known for its super-expensive travel and casual bags, luxury brand Louis Vuitton just released a bizarre looking speaker called the Horizon Light Up speaker. For the uninitiated, the Toupie handbag made big hits following its launch as part of the company’s pre-fall collection in 2019. The brand decided to recreate the design in the form of a speaker. For those who’ve never seen the bag however, the design may just look like a UFO.

The speaker is bound by noble leather along with metal components and covered with the signature LV monogram. It features everything from a subwoofer to light up letters of the brand name as music plays. It can also pair with smartphones via Bluetooth, WiFi and Apple AirPlay 2. There is no set price as of yet, but the speaker is expected to launch worldwide on July 30th. Although considering the brand, this latest creation won’t come cheap!

Cedric Vella opens up his kitchen cabinet and pours himself a bowl of ‘Konkos cereal’ before spreading cement on his toast for breakfast. The concept of the song posted to TikTok captures exactly what many Maltese feel about the excessive construction going on around the island.

Racking up well over 26.9K views as of the writing of this article, Vella’s TikTok also targets the large amount of money made through construction.

Vella, posting the tune to his account @supersadly, throws 50 Euro notes into a washing machine as he sits on top, with the money spinning below him. The video ends with a cheeky reference to Infrastructure Minister Ian Borg, featuring a maze puzzle iconic to cereal boxes titled; ‘Help Ian find a tree to chop down.’

A large-scale rescue effort was initiated on Friday by Germany after the heaviest rainfall recorded in a century devastated parts of Western Europe with flash floods. Dozens lost their lives and many more left unaccounted for. Buildings collapsed as fast moving torrents of water overwhelmed entire towns and villages in western and southern Germany. At least 55 people died, with authorities stating that the number is set to rise as many have been unaccounted for.

Luxembourg, Netherlands and Belgium were all hit, with the latter registering six deaths. Germany recorded the highest deaths as of yet at 49 total lives lost. The German state Rhineland-Palatinate was hit the worst, with 1,300 people assumed missing in the district of Ahrweiler. German weather service spokesman Andreas Friedrich told CNN that some areas had not seen such rainfall in 100 years.
