Prime Minister’s Parents In Stable Condition Following Car Crash

The parents of Prime Minister Robert Abela were hospitalised on Sunday afternoon after being involved in a head-on collision in Fgura, Times of Malta has reported.
President Emeritus George Abela and his wife Margaret were among three individuals taken to hospital following the crash.
The incident occurred at around 3:30pm along Triq Hompesch, with Civil Protection Department officials called to the scene to assist with the rescue.
Taking to Facebook, Prime Minister Robert Abela thanked all the doctors, nurses and other ambulance and hospital staff and confirmed that they are currently recovering in hospital, in a stable condition, and are receiving the best possible care.
