Tonight, at 20:45, right after TVM’s news broadcast, make yourselves comfortable for a special edition of XOW, packed with surprises, humour, and magical moments.

In the first part of the program, we will have the honour of welcoming Prime Minister Robert Abela, his wife Lydia, and their daughter Giorgia Mae.

Joining them will be Opposition Leader Bernard Grech, his wife Ann Marie, and their children.

The second part of the show promises a mix of fun and laughter, featuring distinguished political personalities, including Deputy Prime Minister Ian Borg and Members of Parliament Alex Borg, Rosianne Cutajar, and Graziella Attard Previ.

To close the evening in style, the show will conclude with a Christmas Concert, featuring a host of Maltese artists and singers bringing the Christmas spirit into your homes.

25,500 Locals Now Live Within 10 Minutes Of A Green Open Space

Project Green have revealed that up to 25,500 local residents now live within 10 minutes of a green open space – part of the effort to introduce more greenery and nature spots around the island.

With improved accessibility and well-being for all, 15 open spaces and valleys were completed in 2024 alone.

This adds 70,000 metres squared of greenery across the Maltese islands. Furthermore, next year, 2025, will see an addition of 120,000 metres squared of green open spaces and valleys.

Works will also be kickstarting on an additional 1.3 million metres squared!

Love Island Stars Host Charity Football Match For ALS

A charity football match in aid of @alsmalta is set to take place on December 29, 2024, at 16:30 at Luxol Stadium, offering a chance for the community to come together and support a meaningful cause this festive season. The event is all about giving back to those less fortunate, particularly those affected by ALS, and creating a fun, memorable experience for everyone involved.

Organizers are inviting everyone to gather their friends and family and head to the pitch for a great time. Tickets for the match can be found through the bios of those involved, making it easy for supporters to get theirs ahead of time. For anyone who decides to come by on the day, entry will be available for a small donation, making it accessible to all. 

This charity football match promises to be a fantastic and heartwarming event, combining the holiday spirit with the chance to make a real difference in the lives of those affected by ALS.

You Can Now Leave Electronics, Liquids In Luggage At Airport Security

The Malta International Airport have announced that passengers can now leave liquids and electronics inside one’s luggage when clearing security.

With all six new security scanners now installed at the Central Security Screening Area, passengers will no longer be required to remove liquids or electronics from hand luggage.

‘While the 100ml restriction on liquids in place, certain exceptions apply to items such as medications and food for infants.’
