Prestigious Fulbright Specialist Program To Be Introduced At MCAST

a newly signed agreement between the United States Embassy in Malta and the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST), the prestigious U.S. Fulbright Specialist Program will be officially introduced within MCAST.

The signing ceremony was presided over by the Minister for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation, Clifton Grima, and the Chairperson of the MCAST Board of Governors, Horace Laudi. The agreement was signed by U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Ken Toko and MCAST Principal and CEO Stephen Vella.
The Fulbright Specialist Program, part of the broader Fulbright initiative, connects American academics and professionals with institutions outside the U.S. to collaborate on projects that enhance knowledge and foster long-term partnerships. The extension of the program to MCAST highlights the mutual commitment of Malta and the United States to academic excellence and international collaboration.
Minister Clifton Grima expressed his satisfaction saying,“This collaboration is a testament to the strong partnership between Malta and the United States. It will offer unique opportunities for both students and MCAST to engage with leading American experts and contribute to global academic development.”

In his remarks during the event, Chargé d’Affaires Ken Toko highlighted the transformative impact of the Fulbright Program, which since its inception has become a cornerstone of U.S. cultural and educational diplomacy.
