President of Malta, Myriam Spiteri Debono Visits Maltese Patients In London

The President of Malta, Myriam Spiteri Debono, continued to meet with Maltese patients undergoing treatment in the United Kingdom, and the relatives who assist them during this period of treatment.

On the third day of her visit to London, President Myriam Spiteri Debono visited Great Ormond Street Hospital and St Bartholomew’s Hospital, where she spent time with Maltese patients receiving treatment abroad and the relatives supporting them. These patients continue to be assisted during their stay in the UK by the Malta Community Chest Fund.

At the conclusion of her visits, officials from the Malta Community Chest Fund presented donations to the management of both hospitals. These funds will support patient treatment and ongoing research in the fight against cancer and other illnesses
