Peppa Pig Bil-Malti Set To Return For Season 2

Following the overwhelming success of its first season, Peppa Pig bil-Malti is back for a second season — much to the delight of children and parents across the Maltese Islands.

The new episodes will begin airing this October on TVM+ every weekday at 6:10am and 7:10am, with an afternoon slot at 4:10pm on TVM.

To celebrate the return, Media Exclusive has released a behind-the-scenes video that offers a glimpse into the making of Season 1.

The video introduces the local voice cast, including well-known names such as Peppi Azzopardi and Eileen Montesin, and shows how the beloved character of Peppa was brought to life in Maltese.

Developed in collaboration with the Ċentru tal-Ilsien Malti within the Ministry for Culture, Lands and Local Government, the project will continue to receive support over the next three years.

Maris Camilleri, Acting CEO of the Ċentru, described the initiative as a fun and modern way to bring children closer to the Maltese language.

Executive Producer Rachel Cachia also highlighted the inclusive nature of the show, which features Maltese, English subtitles, and Maltese Sign Language, ensuring that every child can join the fun.
