Hollywood star Pedro Pascal has levied his praise at the ‘impressive’ Gladiator 2 production, most of which occurred in Malta.
Speaking with Vanity Fair, the actor, known for various other roles in The Last of Us and The Mandalorian, he hailed the impressive set used for the film as well as the vision set forth by director Ridley Scott.
“I’ve been a part of big sets where the identity of the project, in a sense, is its size—and still, I have not been on a set as impressive as Gladiator’s. [Director] Ridley [Scott] leaves very little to the imagination in the most old-fashioned sense,” he said.
CBR name dropped Malta too, revealing how principal photography began in Malta last May, with leaked photos giving a glimpse of a massive Colosseum set created for the sequel film.
Pascal was also spotted in Malta dining alongside co-star Paul Mescal. The two are set to be joined by Denzel Washington, Joseph Quinn Connie Nielsen.
