Parliamentarians Rally For Charity In Volleyball Match Ahead Of Marathon

As part of the lead-up to this year’s Volleyball Marathon in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza, a friendly volleyball match took place on Saturday, 12th July, with Members of Parliament from both sides of the House taking part.

The event, organised as part of the run-up to the main fundraiser happening between 18–20 July 2025, took place at the Mediterranean College of Sports within the St Aloysius Sports Complex in Birkirkara.

Among those who took part were Hon. Carmelo Abela, Hon. David Agius, Hon. Mark Anthony Sammut, Hon. Reminda Baldacchino Zarb, Hon. Eve Borg Bonello, Hon. Alicia Bugeja Said, Hon. Ryan Callus, Hon. Darren Carabott, Hon. Ivan Castillo, Hon. Katya De Giovanni, and Hon. Jerome Caruana Cilia.

At the end of the game, the MPs jointly presented a donation to Mgr Martin Micallef, Director of Id-Dar tal-Providenza, and encouraged the public to get involved and support the upcoming Volleyball Marathon, which will be held in the Home’s car park in Siġġiewi.
