Over €14K Raised For Khim Bahadur Pun After Fatal Crash

A fundraiser set up for Khim Bahadur Pun, a courier and father from Nepal working in Malta who passed away this weekend after a hit and run crash, saw over €14,326 raised in a matter of hours.

The 42 year old courier was the 18th road fatality in Malta this year after he was reportedly killed by a 17 year old driver who fled the scene after the accident in Birkirkara.

According to police reports, the fatal collision occurred early on Sunday morning along Triq Salvu Psaila, when a Maserati Levante crashed into Mr Pun’s Kymco motorbike.

The luxury vehicle then struck three parked cars before those inside fled the scene on foot.

The death prompted not only tributes being held for Khim but overall appeals for further enforcement in regards to Malta’s roads.
