Over 800 Emergency Calls For Ambulances In Past Four Days

Minister for Health Jo Etienne Abela revealed that in the past four days, the Mater Dei Emergency services received 800 calls for ambulances.
80 cases of these were persons in critical conditions, whereas 24 required medical assistance on site.
40% of the calls required assistance by nurses. This means, the Minister said, that 400 from 800 calls were high priority.
‘Thank you to all doctors, nurses, emergency responders and Mater Dei staff for their work.’
