What’s interesting is that 84.3% of guest nights in July 2023 were spent in rented accommodation establishments, highlighting the popularity of self-catering options like holiday apartments and villas. Additionally, the expenditure per capita during the first seven months of 2023 stood at €849, showcasing tourists’ willingness to invest in their Maltese experience and significantly contribute to the local economy.
