Outer Banks cast on set for filming of third season

After much anticipation and a super-long wait, Netflix has announced the return of Outer Banks, with the cast and crew finally hitting the set to start production.

The teen mystery-drama follows the story of a group of teenagers from Outer Banks North Carolina as they traverse their way through social injustice and hunt for unbelievable amounts of treasure, making friendships along the way. After premiering on Netflix in 2020 and dropping season 2 in October of the following year, Season 3 is finally coming and we’re here for it.

The cast features Chase Stokes as John B, Madelyn Cline as Sarah Cameron, Madison Bailey as Kie, Jonathan Davis as Pope Heyward and Rudy Panko as JJ, all of which are seen in Netflix’s recent Outer Banks post, which also features Drew Starkey’s Rafe Cameron in a buzz cut.

Whilst Netflix has yet to announce the release date, with production starting now we can expect a release as soon as Summer 2022.

Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri and PN candidate Chris Said are in agreement on the Malta-Gozo tunnel, stating that it is the ideal solution for the islands’ connectivity.

During TV programme Xtra, the Minister highlighted the fact that the Maltese voted for the tunnel and the party remains committed to it while Said stated that a fixed link is the ideal solution but Gozitans should have the final say after research is conducted. The PN MP went on to say that it is time that Gozo is recognised as a regional island in the constitution, where the PN would enact a Gozitan regional council elected by Gozitans.

Minister Camilleri on the other hand, outline how a Labour government will invest in air strip facilities and adding a fourth ship.

Local company C. Cini Manufacturing Ltd, known locally for its Lamb Brand brand products, has invested €9 million towards relocating to a new Imrieħel complex, which will make include new and more efficient equipment.

The investment was made to strengthen the company’s exportation side, satisfy the demand in the local food market and conduct research and development to maintain competitiveness within the market. This was announced by Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Sustainable Development Miriam Dalli, together with Malta Enterprise chief Kurt Farrugia and one of C. Cini Manufacturing Ltd.’s directors Melanie Galea Cini.

The company started operations in 1931 and has always recognised the importance of investing and expanding its operations, with the expansion also seeking to satisfy the demand for gluten free products, amongst others.They will reportedly also shift to recyclable plastic packaging in an attempt to acquire ISO, BRC and IFS certifications.

Bottles of Moët & Chandon across the European Union are currently being recalled due to the potential presence of liquid ecstasy in them.

The specific bottles are the 3L bottles of Moët & Chandon Impérial Ice, which are believed to have been tampered with, emptied and filled with liquid MDMA. No incidents have been reported in Malta but local authorities are monitoring the situation closely. Bottles are reportedly sold online by private individuals.

Consumers who have purchased this particular product online have been asked not to consume it. The bottles in question carry lot number LAJ7QAB6780004.
