Orange Warning As Strong Winds Hit Maltese Islands

The Maltese islands are being battered by very strong winds, as ferry services get canceled and/or diverted due to the risk involved.
According to the Malta International Airport weather forecast, gale force winds are battering the country, with sea-side areas becoming hot zones which residents are being urged to avoid.
Force 8 and 9 winds are being reported by other weather portals, with live bay cams showing the intensity of waves hitting the coastlines.
