The picturesque riverside home featured in the Netflix series “Sex Education,” where Otis and Jean Milburn reside, has become an iconic element of the show’s surreal, heightened world.

While the series is set in a fictional place, Moordale, the stunning countryside property is very real and has recently been put up for sale. The house, a 100-year-old Norwegian wooden chalet, is located in Symonds Yat, Herefordshire, in the heart of the beautiful Wye Valley.

Perched 500 feet above the river, it offers breathtaking panoramic views.

Previously, the chalet has served as a holiday house for fans of the show and its scenic backdrop. However, now the owner, Stuart Morgan, has decided to pass it on after more than two decades of ownership.

The five-bedroom home is listed for sale at a guide price of £1.5 million.

The Chalet, originally built in 1912 as a salmon fishing lodge, underwent extensive renovation under Morgan’s ownership. It now features modern amenities while preserving its character and charm.

The property’s 4.52-acre grounds include various outbuildings, a large lawn, summer house, and even a Swedish hot bath and custom-built stone pizza oven on the balconies.

This hidden gem is set amidst wooded seclusion, with pedestrian access to the River Wye and breathtaking views of the Wye Gorge. It truly embodies the magical and idyllic setting that has captivated fans of “Sex Education.”
