Nurse Allegedly Stabbed By Colleague At Mater Dei Hospital

A 41 year old nurse from India was grievously injured in an alleged attack at Mater Dei Hospital yesterday evening.
The nurse was reportedly attacked with a sharp object by a male nurse, also from India, who fled the scene.
Mater Dei Hospital confirmed the incident and is closely monitoring the nurse’s condition.
The hospital is cooperating fully with police to ensure a thorough investigation and emphasised its commitment to a safe, respectful environment for all staff and patients, condemning any form of violence or inappropriate behaviour.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
