Next Budget Will Be Best Malta Ever Saw, Says PM

Prime Minister Robert Abela has said the upcoming budget will be the best Malta has ever seen, describing it as a commitment to strengthen the middle class and improve working conditions.

Speaking during an interview on ONE television, Dr Abela said the Government is in the final stages of preparation and will announce the budget date in the coming days.

He stated that work is continuing to deliver the remaining 30% of the measures from the “Malta Together” electoral manifesto by the end of the legislature, adding that this is taking place while Malta records strong economic performance compared to other European countries.

The Prime Minister said the budget will include measures aimed at social support, infrastructure investment, and economic stability, with the goal of benefiting the wider population.
