The Malta Police Force have announced the launch of a dedicated Roads Policing Unit, aimed at enhancing the investigation of traffic collisions involving injuries across the island.
This centralised unit will improve the handling of serious road incidents, ensuring each case is examined with precision, professionalism, and the latest technology.
Officers in the unit have received accredited training and will use advanced digital tools to scan and document crash scenes for thorough analysis.
According to Police Commissioner Angelo Gafà, this initiative forms part of the wider transformation and modernisation of the Force, designed to deliver more efficient and expert responses to road traffic incidents.
