New Record For Festive Street Decorations In Ħaż-Żabbar

The Malta Records presented yet another record, this time in the locality of Ħaż-Żabbar.

‘Anyone who visited the feast could see the marvellous decorations, some of which were newly created in certain streets with the involvement of dozens of volunteers.’

The longest stretch of festoons with new bulbs to decorate the streets for the Feast of Our Lady of Grace was produced entirely by the society’s volunteers over the past two months in preparation for the 2025 celebrations.

The decorations measure 5.3 kilometres in length and include 9,812 LED bulbs.

This record was established by the Maria Mater Gratiae Philharmonic Society Żabbar A.D. 1883.
