‘You may not see it, but it’s there’: Maltese Daniel Vella has launched pollution.mt, a platform which issues hourly air pollution updates for Malta to keep us all updated on what we’re breathing!
The platform allows users to monitor pollutant levels as they are updated and automatically compares them to World Health Organisation standards every hour.

The platform monitors for 6 specific type of pollutants: sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, PM10 and PM2.5.
It also offers opportunities to learn what one can do about mitigating the negative health effects of such pollutants as it offers air quality data for 6 different locations in Malta as of yet:
Attard, Msida, Żejtun, St Paul’s Bay, Mobile Station and Għarb. ‘pollution.mt is here to make the invisible problem that is all around us more visible. Get your hourly Malta air pollution updates, and learn more about the air you breathe’.
