Neil Agius Salutes Armed Forces For Their Support After Gozo 7 Challenge

Endurance swimmer Neil Agius has successfully completed his remarkable Gozo 7 challenge, swimming around the island of Gozo for seven consecutive days.

Over the course of the week, Agius covered the equivalent of a marathon distance each day around 42 kilometres often spending up to 15 hours in the water. In total, he swam an astonishing 271 kilometres.

Expressing his gratitude for the support received throughout the feat, Agius shared a video on social media in which he wrote “Felt great to know you have the support of the armed forces.”

Agius continued, “A salute after a week swimming 271km, Viva Malta u Għawdex”
