Msida Flyover Progress: 60-Tonne Stell Girder Set In Place

E&L Enterprises Ltd has marked a major milestone in the Msida Flyover project, which is currently Malta’s largest structural steel infrastructure undertaking.
The company announced on social media that Steel Girder 5 of 6 has been successfully installed. The component weighs 60 tonnes and measures 25 metres in length with a width of 7.5 metres.
The flyover is the first project of its kind to be designed and built entirely by local expertise, making it a landmark achievement for the country’s construction sector.
