Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Birkirkara Crash

Early this morning, at around 5:30am, police were informed of a traffic accident on Sir Anthony Mamo Road in Birkirkara.

Initial investigations revealed a collision between a Nissan March and a Honda motorcycle ridden by a 57-year-old man from Msida.

The motorcyclist received medical assistance at the scene and was taken to hospital by ambulance, where he was certified as seriously injured.

A 25-year-old woman from San Pawl il-Baħar was also in the Nissan. She was not physically injured but was taken to hospital due to shock.

Police are searching for a man who is believed to have also been in the Nissan at the time of the accident but reportedly left the scene.
