Motorcyclist Grievously Injured In Early Morning Crash

A 37 year old motorcyclist sustained grievous injuries this morning after being involved in a traffic accident along Triq Aldo Moro in Marsa.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:15am and involved a collision between a Yamaha GPD125-A motorcycle and a Toyota Aygo.The motorbike was being driven by an Albanian man, resident of St Paul’s Bay, while the car was driven by a 65 year old man from San Ġwann.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene, and the injured motorcyclist was transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. He was later certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
