Motorcyclist Grievously Injured After Reported Hit & Run

Yesterday, at around 2115hrs, police were informed of a traffic accident which took place on Kennedy Drive, St Paul’s Bay.
Police convened immediately on site and preliminary investigations showed that a 21 year old man of Nepalese nationality and resident of St Paul’s Bay suffered some injuries after he was allegedly hit by a vehicle while he was driving his Peugeot Tweet motorcycle.
The vehicle that reportedly hit the motorcyclist kept driving.
A medical team was called on site and he was taken to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
Investigations by police are still ongoing.
