Charlton Debono continued to make a name for himself in athletics, having secured a silver medal in the half marathon held in Orkney.
Minister Clint Camilleri, who joined the contingent, shared the positive news.
Camilleri added how Debono was not the only one to celebrate success.
Alongside teammates Matthew Xuereb and Isacc Attard, he also won a silver medal in the team category of the same race.
This event is part of an international platform introduced two years ago specifically to support and promote Gozitan athletes.
It has since become an important opportunity for showcasing local talent abroad.
Despite being one of the smallest islands, Gozo continues to produce determined and high-achieving athletes.
