More Turtles! Nest 3 In Gozo Starts To Hatch!

Gozo is also getting its first hatchlings, Wildlife Rescue Team Malta reported.
While the volunteers in Malta continued to monitor Nest 2 at Għadira for other hatchlings, volunteers in Gozo with Nest 3 also reported their own hatching activity.
At around 10pm the sand started to shift, with 20 little turtles making it out over 5 hours.
Nest 3 was laid on Wednesday 18th June, with the hatching taking place in the late hours of Day 51.
Volunteers are present to make sure the hatching takes place and no disturbances occur.
