Over 1,500 passionate Manchester United fans gathered at the iconic Greek Theatre in Ta’ Qali for a live screening of the Europa League Final against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Manchester United Malta Supporters’ Club, with over 1,000 members, is not only one of the largest supporter groups in Malta but also holds the distinction of being the oldest Manchester United supporters’ club in the world.

The bond between Malta and the Red Devils remains strong—evident in the recent honour awarded to Maltese fan Joe Glanville, who was named the 2024 Ian Stirling Fan of the Year at Old Trafford.

Despite the electric atmosphere, the support wasn’t enough to change United’s fortunes, as Tottenham secured a 17-year first major trophy win and a spot in next season’s Champions League.

Following the match, the Manchester United Malta Supporters’ Club took to Facebook to thank all the fans who turned out in large numbers.

Despite the disappointing result, they celebrated their first-ever screening at the Ta’ Qali Greek Theatre as a memorable and historic occasion.
