Minister for the Environment, Climate Change and Planning Aaron Farrugia announced a brand new multi-million euro project for Romeo Romano Garden in St. Venera. Speaking at a press conference, the Minister announced how the locality will be given a new green area which they can enjoy together with their families. The garden itself will consist of a playground for the public to freely enjoy.
In the second phase of the project, the Minister announced that a historical building, which is currently abandoned, will be restored and will serve as a kitchen garden. The Minister seeks to elevate the locality’s air quality due to the highly urbanised spaces and give back to the community a fresh nature space.
