The 5 Stages of St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations

The 5 Stages of St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations
Mar 14 2025 Share

St. Patrick’s Day in Malta is a rollercoaster of emotions, energy, and, let’s be honest—a lot of Guinness. Whether you’re hitting our St. Julian’s Street Party or hopping between bars, you’ll definitely experience these five stages of celebration:

The Hype Stage: “LET’S GOOO!”

The group chat is buzzing, outfits are planned, and you’re hyping yourself up with Irish playlists. You swear you’ll pace yourself this year…

The Peak: “This is the BEST night ever!”

The drinks are flowing, the music is pumping, and you’ve already high-fived 10 strangers in green. You feel unstoppable.

The Slippery Slope: “Wait… how many did I have?”

You lost count of your drinks, your friends have mysteriously disappeared, and suddenly, finding a bathroom is your top priority.

The Reflection: “I should’ve eaten more.”

Your feet hurt, your voice is gone, and you realize that maybe that last shot wasn’t the best idea. But hey, no regrets (yet).

The Aftermath: “Never again… until next year.”

You wake up questioning your life choices, searching for hangover cures, and checking your camera roll for blurry memories. Same time next year?

Which stage are you in right now?

Send this to your St. Patrick’s squad!
