MEP Thomas Bajada Calls Out Silence Over Gaza Genocide

MEP Thomas Bajada condemned the actions of the Israeli government and the ongoing genocide of Palestinians in his speech yesterday.
As MEPs debated with Council and Commission representatives the EU’s response to the Israeli government’s plan to seize the Gaza Strip.
Declaring this an emergency and dedicating a few moments of silence for Palestinians, Bajada condemned the silence by the EU as well as the actions of the Israeli government, whilst also embracing the reviewing by the EU of the trade and cooperation deal with Israel.
He highlighted the killing of fellow human beings in Palestine, urging for more action to be taken to address the emergency.
