MaltaPost has just launched a new set of postage stamps that will surely captivate feline fans and collectors alike.
The “Cats Series II” collection, painted by talented local artist Andrew Micallef, celebrates the charm of Malta’s beloved cats in stunning artwork.
The collection consists of four beautifully designed stamps: The €0.20 stamp features a tri-coloured cat lounging in the countryside, with the majestic Gozo Ċittadella as a picturesque backdrop. The €0.45 stamp captures a white tabby cat at the serene fishing village of Marsaxlokk, with the iconic Our Lady of Pompei parish church rising in the distance. The €1.00 stamp portrays an elegant orange tabby on a wrought iron bench, framed by the chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes, overlooking Mgarr Harbour. The €1.91 stamp showcases a long-haired Tuxedo cat, with the charming village of Siggiewi and its St Nicholas parish church in the background.
These 4 stamps will be available for purchase from all Post Offices in Malta and Gozo, or can be ordered online, starting from Friday, 4th April 2025.
