Melanie Kelly Celebrates Her 50th Birthday

Local influencer and personality Melanie Kelly is celebrating her 50th birthday today, sharing a post of reflection on social media about all that led her to this moment and the lessons she learned.

‘My life feels like a collection of chapters intertwined in a blurry mist’, she wrote.

‘ ask myself: What would I have done differently? What do I wish I gave more to? Less to? And perhaps the most important question of all: What have I learnt, Mel?’

She highlighted ‘3 Ps’ as mantras for her next chapter in life.

‘Play, Mel. Play. Life isn’t that serious — it really isn’t. Play more. Laugh louder. Live louder.’

‘Be Present. Living in the now is simple enough and yet no one is present. Presence is really key and the most powerful gift we can give ourselves and others.’

‘Pace Yourself. The art of being busy, extremely busy actually, is the new norm. But I’m learning to honour slowness. To breathe. To pause. To trust the timing of my life.’

‘So here’s to 50. To every version of me that brought me here. And to the woman I’m still becoming — one moment, one breath, one wild, wonderful chapter at a time.’
