Meet Malta’s Young Creatives Shaping The Art & Theatre of Tomorrow

This summer, Malta’s most imaginative young minds are invited to unleash their creativity with ŻiguŻajg’s all-new Arts & Theatre Summer Programme for Children. 🎨🎭

Running across six exciting weeks, ŻiguŻajg’s 2025 Summer Programme features two enriching pathways: the Young Cavaliers Theatre Programme and the Art Jam Summer Bootcamp, each crafted to spark creativity, boost confidence, and nurture the next generation of artists and performers.

In the Young Cavaliers Theatre Programme, children aged 7–12 will dive into the wonderful world of performance. Led by the inspiring Lara Agius, this immersive experience covers everything from acting and storytelling to set and costume design. Week by week, young participants will explore a different aspect of theatre, working towards a thrilling final public performance at the iconic round theatre at Spazju Kreattiv.

Prefer painting to performing? Budding visual artists can join the Art Jam Summer Bootcamp, a vibrant series of six art workshops guided by artist and educator Ryan Galea. Children will experiment with diverse media, take inspiration from Maltese and international artists, and curate their own final public exhibition inside one of Spazju Kreattiv’s professional galleries.

Whether your child wants to take centre stage or fill the gallery walls, ŻiguŻajg’s Summer Programme is a joyful journey of creativity and self-expression. Parents can even opt for added flexibility with early drop-off or extended pick-up hours.
