Couple Spend Vacation Volunteering at Malta Dog Shelter.

Lenny and Philip, a couple visiting Malta for a holiday, unexpectedly found themselves spending the majority of their vacation volunteering at the AAA dog sanctuary. Having previously lost their dog, they felt it was the right time to adopt again. After bonding with the animals at the shelter, they decided to take home two large fox terriers named Pacikk and Styles.

This afternoon, the couple bid an emotional farewell at the airport, leaving behind not only a beautiful experience but two dogs that had found a loving family. Heartwarming photos show Pacikk and Styles at the airport, seemingly aware of their new beginning. Pictures from the sanctuary also reveal both dogs with happy expressions, as if they sensed they had found their forever home. Lenny and Philip are now on their way to Berlin with their new companions, excited to begin this new chapter of their lives together.

Taking to social media, ALS activist Bjorn Formosa shared a photo of himself back in his school days wearing his school uniform.

‘This time of the year reminds me of that amazing’ uniform’, wrote Bjorn. ‘I used to wear it so happily.’

Bjorn and his wife Maria have dedicated their lives to helping people who, like Bjorn, suffer from the neurological disorder ALS, raising funds for the homes DAR Bjorn and other amenities needed by those suffering.

Woman In Gozo Court Over Cocaine Possession

Yesterday, the Malta Police Force arraigned a 31 year old French woman resident of Għarb, Gozo in Gozo’s court.

She was accused of being in possession of drugs suspected to be cocaine yesterday at around 1845hrs whilst in an apartment in Triq ir-Rabat, Żebbuġ, Gozo.

The circumstances showed that the drugs were not exclusively for her own consumption, raising suspicions of trafficking.

The accused pleaded not guilty and was kept under arrest.
