McDonald’s Celebrates 30 Years in Malta with a Month of Magic

From the first Happy Meal in Valletta back in 1995 to late-night drive-thrus today, McDonald’s has been part of Malta’s story for three decades. This September, the golden arches are inviting the entire island to celebrate 30 Years of Lovin’ It.

For 30 years, McDonald’s has been the go-to spot for everything from early morning McCafé runs to study breaks, first dates, and post-concert snacks. It’s not just food, it’s memories, routines, and moments that have shaped generations.

To mark the occasion, McDonald’s is hosting free family-friendly events throughout September, with magic shows, face painting, scavenger hunts, dance workshops, and more. Catch the remaining celebrations at:

What’s a birthday without something sweet? For September only, McDonald’s is serving up two sweet specials – a Birthday Donut (Crème Brûlée) at €1.80, with proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House Charities, and a Pistachio Sundae at €2.60. Trust us, you’re going to want to try these.
