Mary Tabone passed away on the 9th of November last year, but before the moment came, Hospice Malta provided the family with all the assistance they needed.
Husband Joseph Tabone and daughter Pauline Borg spoke about the remarkable assistance the family received in the last few days of their loss, making the process much easier in such a turbulent time.
This comes ahead of the Sunday, 7th July 2024, ‘L-Aħħar Pass’ Fundraising Telethon.

The local NGO is dedicated to providing free palliative care services to patients and their families. The telethon will take place from 11:00am to 11:00pm and aims to rally support to complete the final stages of the St Michael Hospice Complex.
The inauguration of the complex is set for September of this year, and the entire telethon will be broadcast live for 12 hours directly from St Michael Hospice in St Venera.
‘St Michael Hospice, Malta’s first palliative care complex, represents a transformative milestone in Hospice Malta’s 34-year commitment to holistic care. The complex will offer crucial in-patient facilities and expanded services, ensuring comprehensive support for patients and their families facing life-limiting illnesses.’
