Man spared prison sentence after 100g of cannabis deemed for personal use

The court of Malta has spared a man a 10-year prison sentence for possessing more than 100g of cannabis, ruling it for personal.
32-year-old Fabio Ignazzitto was conditionally discharge after presenting a basis of personal use for the cannabis.
In a police statement, Ignazzitto claimed that he had bought 130 grams for €430 and was eventually ordered to pay €324.50 in court expenses.
