Man Injured After Fall In Marsa

This morning, at around 10:15am, police were informed that assistance was needed on a vessel berthed at Xatt il-Mollijiet, Marsa.
Police officers immediately went on site, where preliminary investigations revealed that a 41-year-old Indonesian man had fallen approximately one storey through a hatch.
Members of the Civil Protection Department, together with a medical team, arrived on the scene to provide assistance. The victim was transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
