Man dies after being hit by car in Marsa

Police were informed at around 1410hrs that a traffic incident had occurred at around Triq Dicembru Tlettax, Marsa.
Police convened immediately on site and preliminary investigations revealed that a man, whose identity is not yet known, was hit by a Mercedes Benz C250, driven by a 66-year-old Fgura resident.A medical team was called on site which transported to Mater Dei Hospital to give further aid. Unfortunately, the man was certified dead a few moments later.
An inquiry has been opened and investigations are ongoing.
