Mariah shared the moment she spotted the dish on the canteen menu – Maltese Kapunata.
Filled with aubergine, marrows, tomatoes, olives and capers, along with some bread on the side, Mariah took an extra serving to share.
Her reaction in tasting the Maltese flavours complemented her excitement at triggering her tastebuds with a dish from back home.
