Maltese man opens up about his experience being adopted

Maltese man opens up about his experience being adopted
Feb 16 2023 Share

A local by the name of Sicari Stefano took to social media to share his experience about having been adopted from Romania, speaking about the many unknown factors in his life.

These range from his date of birth, whether he has any siblings, where his character traits come from and, of course, who his parents were.

Stefano took the opportunity to remind people that many things we take for granted – waking up in the morning, going to work, having shelter, having relationships with people – are not to be taken for granted.

For Stefano, these things could be described as miracles, a sentiment acquired due to him reflecting upon his adoption. This comes as he plans to travel to Romania for the first time on his own to discover more about his past.

He also thanked his adoptive parents for the love they showed him and encouraged parents wishing to adopt to take the leap of faith and do so. He also highlighted the importance of communication as his Romanian past was not hidden from him in any way.

All he has to go off of is an address of the Galata child institute he was taken to after having been abandoned.

We wish Stefano a wonderful trip as he embarks on this journey of self-discovery!

Feb 16 2023 Share

As arguably the artist who is very much known for her connection to love and break-up songs, Taylor Swift became Spotify’s most streamed artist on Valentine’s Day.

According to Pop Base, Taylor Swift’s music was put on an endless loop on the 14th of February 2023 as people either celebrated their love or tried to enjoy their single life amidst all the hearts, roses and teddy bears…and social media posts.

Most people weren’t very shocked by the news, crediting the artist for being able to create anthems and tunes which are applicable to any situation and/or time.

Late last year, Swift’s new album ‘Midnights’ became Spotify’s most streamed album in less than 24 hours before the clock could strike, well, midnight for the next day.

PN spokesperson for Inclusion and the Voluntary Sector Graziella Galea took to social media to share an image of what seems to be a sheep floating dead in St Paul’s Bay.

The sheep was glimpsed floating at a slight distance away from the Sirens area, with Galea revealing that the sheep was later retrieved by the Cleansing Department.

Following her appeal to remove the animal, Galea also went on to condemn without reserve the person responsible for the act.

It is currently unknown how and why the sheep ended up dead in the water, but most commenters on the post also condemned the possibility of this being a brutal act.
