Destiny Chukunyere, Malta’s very own Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 representative and winner, has just turned 20 years old. And suffice to say, the artist has already achieved so much at such a young age.

Chukunyere represented Malta in the 11th season of Britain’s Got Talent and won the second season of the Maltese version of the X-Factor.

Going on to represent Malta once again in 2021 with her song ‘Je Me Casse’, she placed 7th with a total of 255 points. Her versatility and raw talent has continued to earn her opportunities as she currently coaches contestants on the first season of ‘The Voice Kids Malta.’

As one of Malta’s most powerful voices in the music industry, collaborating with various other artists throughout her career and holding her own on various stages, we would like to wish Destiny a happy 20th birthday and further success in her already thriving career.

Earlier today, a significant police present was noticed in Hamrun’s Qormi Road as officials within the Malta Police Force together with members of the Rapid Intervention Unit conducted a delicate operation.

The road was closed off as a lifter began to extract large black bags from one of the residences; the contents of which are currently unknown.

Following a string of brawls and incidents in the central village, Hamrun mayor Christian Sammut called for an increase of police presence in the area. Sammut has also been in talks with the president of the Syrian Solidarity NGO in order to collaborate and improve the situation in Hamrun.

More on this story as it develops.
