Maltese DJ Edd’s music to feature on FIFA Soundtrack

The upcoming FIFA 23 has a bit of everything, and that’s mostly because it’ll feature over 100 songs. Indeed, this is the biggest FIFA soundtrack to date, so picking out the bangers is going to take some time. Fortunately, EA’s given us a festival-esque poster that names every artist and band that’s made the cut.

In a press release, EA teased: “The carefully curated mixture of hip hop, alternative, electronic dance and pop music transports players directly into the game of street football.”

As he continues his meteoric rise, Maltese DJ/Producer Edd has found himself on the soundtrack of the iconic football game FIFA23. Joining the likes of Jack Harlow, Disclosure, Central Cee and much more, Edd’s placement on the FIFA soundtrack solidifies his shot to stardom following his most recent Ibiza gigs.

Earlier this year Edd was also named one of BBC Radio 1’s Future Dance Stars of 2022.

Such an achievement will surely pave the way for more local creators to strive for more as this is proof it’s all possible.

Junior Minister organises search party for missing guide dog Max

Parliamentary Secretary for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Animal Welfare and Labour MP Alicia Bugeja said is organising a search party for missing guide dog Max.

“Like a lot of other Maltese, the story of young Miguel Bugeja and his dog Max touched me personally. The love for dogs is something very dear, which excels and is able to overcome all obstacles.”

The Junior Minister went on to reveal that, together with the Animal Welfare Directorate, she will be organising a search party for the missing dog, calling on her followers to provide any information they may have.

The search party will be taking place on Friday 23rd at 9:30AM, with the meeting point being at Ta’ Kandja, Siggiewi.

Tokis is the first ever library of local content which will be available for the Maltese public, and all the talent that went into creating it will be celebrated on Friday 30th September 2022.

With our very own Sarah and Amy hosting the red carpet during the evening and the event being broadcast live on Facebook, this groundbreaking event will announce some exciting news regarding the future of Maltese television.

All the local prominent actors, producers and celebrities will be gathered in one place to highlight the spectacular talent which the island has produced over recent years.

The event will ‘bring together a number of productions from the past, but more importantly, will include brand new and exciting content which are set for release in the coming months.’

‘I hope the baby has a lawyer’, Peppi Azzopardi says in light of US couple suing Malta

Following the news that US couple Andrea Prudente and Jey Weeldreyer are taking Malta to court for denying them an emergency abortion back in June, Peppi Azzopardi took to Facebook to give his two cents on the matter.

In his post, Azzopardi stated the following: “I hope the Court sees that in this case and other similar ones, there is a lawyer to represent the baby. It’s not right to see babies being killed not having anyone to defend them.”

Azzopardi has been outspoken in his opinion against abortion, often going online to express his disagreement. Back in July, Peppi posted a video online captioned “if you were against abortion and starting doubting, watch this video”, breaking down his thoughts a few days after the couple’s issue had happened.
